Tropic Aero Return Policy

 

Any item purchased within a 30-day period can be subject to a refund, with the exception of electronics (see below). A receipt must be provided in order for a refund to occur. All items must be in the same condition as when purchased, including the original box, original packaging, and UPC codes on the manufacturer box. All manuals, blank warranty cards and any other original accessories and documentation that are provided by the manufacturer must also be provided. If the original packaging is damaged a 15% restocking fee will be charged. No product will be accepted if there is evidence of abuse. This policy does not apply to products that are determined to be defective from the manufacturer.

Electronic Items Return Policy

  1. Handheld GPS Devices, Handheld Radio/Transceivers, Headsets, Electronic E6B
    These devices purchased from Tropic Aero and returned within 14 days from the date of purchase with the original receipt or invoices are eligible for a refund. No refunds are allowed after 14 days from the date of purchase. Items must be in new condition, including the original box, packaging, manual and accessories. A re-stocking fee equal to 15% of the purchase price will be charged on any return. These warranties do not apply to products that are determined to be defective.
    • Garmin Products may be returned only if the "Jeppesen update certificate" that is contained with the unit, has not been activated. If it has been activated it can not be returned.
  2. Software
    OPENED software, DVD movies, and pre-recorded videos, may ONLY be exchanged for the exact same item and not be returned for a refund with in 30 days.
  3. Electronic Flight Bags (EFB)
    Electronic Flight Bag items purchased from Tropic Aero and returned within 14 days from the date of purchase with the original receipt are eligible for a refund. No refunds are allowed after 14 days from the date of purchase. Items must be in new condition, including the original box, packaging, manual and accessories. A 15% restocking fee will be charged if any software has been installed. This policy does not apply to products that are determined to be defective.
